I'm pretty new to the concept of digital gardens, but I've been obsessing over it lately. Join me in this journey to learn about it and build my own one!
What is a Digital garden
For those who are not familiar with this concept, a digital garden is an online space that goes beyond the typical blog. It's a place to share knowledge as an evolving process. Basically, a place to cultivate ideas, thoughts, and learnings.
Ideas are usually connected, like a wiki. Also, posts are usually not chronologically organized, as posts keep growing over time.
What makes digital gardens interesting to me is that they are quite personal. You can glance at how a person learns and organizes their thoughts. There's a bit of chaos in every digital garden, but that's one of the interesting things about them.
Status
I'm using epistemic statuses in every post to not feel pressured about publishing half-baked versions of them. This way, I can publish drafts, that will eventually become more informed and completed posts, while I learn about that specific topic.
I want this site to be a continual work in progress. After all, this is my personal site, so I shouldn't feel stressed about anything. Working on it, writing for it, should be fun!
